My First Diagnosiversary
Posted by sarahafterdiagnosis on March 14, 2006
Everyone should have as lovely a first Diagnosiversary as I’ve had today.
First off, it’s lovely weather. A touch chilly but brilliant sun, hardly any wind.
Second, I had a delicious facial (esthetician does not think it’s the Sheer Cover makeup that’s causing my bad skin, and in fact does not think I have bad skin, just more blackheads than usual and some leftover redness from chemo that should fade) followed by a very pleasant pedicure (with sea salt scrub. holy mother, I would marry that sea salt if I could). Then I bought myself some clothes (finally found a non peasant-style brown skirt), picked up an avocado-and-tomato crepe from the creperie and headed home to my happy loving little boys whose favorite habit right this minute is giving us lots of juicy kisses on the mouth.
Now they’re “down for a nap” (ahahha, we’ll see about that) and then we’ll go and play outside.
